10/09/10- LOST APPLICATIONS
Miss West Africa UK lost roughly 2 weeks worth of applications in the last two weeks of August. Due to this we extended the application deadline to give all those that previously applied a chance to reapply. The deadline is now the 22nd of September 2010. Please note due to late notice, the £60 application fee will need to be paid on innitial appointments if chosen. Urgently contact Nana on 07542 039 390. If you are one of those and you are reading this after this date, we would have to apologise and ask you to reaply next year after Miss West Africa International 2011.

The Miss West Africa UK is scheduled for the 26th November 2010, and the UK team are currently accepting applications from all potential pageants of West African origin. Do you have what it takes to represent West Africans in UK in in Miss West Africa International 2011 in Ghana. Then this is your chance to be an international beauty queen. Apparantly we have been informed there are some Miss West Africa frauds operating in America. They usually pretend to be organisers of known pageants and collect your money and provide nothing on your behalf. Some of their previous scams have been to organise shows in little venues in their neighbourhoods and do not give the pageants their deserved money. Please do not fall into these scams. Abigal Thomas is currently the main organiser for Miss West Africa in America, and the winner will be flown to Africa to participate in Miss West Africa International 2011. 21/08/10- NINA ERHABOR IS MISS WEST AFRICA CANADA 2010.....
Nina Erhabor is Miss West Africa Canada 2010 and also the first discovered queen in the running for Miss West Africa International 2011 in December 2011 to take place in Ghana.
In a very exciteful moment, the Nigerian born pageant swooped the Miss West Africa Canada crown and title amongst many, with 1st runners up Rita K. from Ivory Coast, Cote D'Viore. The beauty pageant is now set to be the 1st African beauty pageant in Canada with international recognition, giving us the first Beauty Queen to enter into the runnings for Miss West Africa International.
